Peptide Synthesizer

Peptide Synthesizer

Make: AAPPTec

Model: Focus Xi

  • Single-reactor automated solid-phase peptide synthesizer.
  • Excellent for production of approximately 25 mg to 1 g of resin.
  • Standard or custom-designed synthesis protocols.
  • Easy-to-operate system with SMART™ software.
  • Minimum solvent usage and fast synthesis.
  • Mixing by nitrogen bubbling, mechanical mixing, or both.

Technical Specifications
  • 1 reactor vessel Volume of 100 mL
  • 5 solvent/reagent lines, with optional variable lines and bottle sizes.
  • 16 amino-acid containers; optional volumes of 90 mL.
  • Mixing by nitrogen bubbling, mechanical mixing, or both.
  • The Focus Series supports Fmoc and t-Boc peptide chemistries

Software / Automation AAPPTec’s SMART™ software analyzes the peptide sequence and provides a synthesis prediction. It supports standard or custom protocols and provides on-screen instructions for the synthesis process.

Resin Washing and Mixing The reaction-vessel design allows resin washing from the top of the reactor through the resin to waste. Focus Series instruments use variable-speed wrist-action mixing, nitrogen bubbling, or a combination, depending on configuration.

  • Automated solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS).
  • Peptide discovery research and synthetic-method development.
  • Fmoc and t-Boc peptide chemistry.

* Charges for per amino acid in INR (+ applicable GST). Note: 1) These are only Instrument operational charges. 2) If end users do not supply chemicals, reagents/solvents, in addition to the above basic charges, there will be additional charges as per the peptide sequence. The end-user will be provided with a quotation for the same.
