LC-ESI-MS
  • Sample Introduction into the mass spectrometer is possible by both direct infusion method as well as through the liquid chromatographic column, viz.,LC-MS run.
  • Measurement of average intact molecular mass of water soluble (polar) compounds, including peptides and proteins of molecular masses up to approx.. 20-30 kiloDaltons.
  • MS/MS fragmentation of smaller-sized polar molecules aiding in molecular structure determination
    • Determination of Intact Molecular Mass of different types of Biomolecules, such as, peptides, proteins, lipids, flavonoids, etc. Also, useful to elucidate molecular structures of some biomolecules and hence, in some cases, it is possible to deduce sequences of peptides and proteins.
